Job Purpose Load all products in a timely manner and make sure all trailers have the correct pallets for specific stores.We hire essential workers to work for a large grocery distribution center in Irving TX. The positions listed below are long term and with potential growth.We are currently offering a 200 sign-on bonus after completing 160 regular working hours 50 weekly bonus after completing 40hrs or more and 350 referral bonus (additional rules apply). Overtime is available and you may work 10hr or more during busy seasons (you will have two days off during the week). Various climate conditions 0 - 80 (Dry Cooler environment) Requirements Double Electric Pallet Jack experience and High Top Work Boots. Pay Rate 12.00phr Job Type Full time. This is a long term assignment with room to grow Essential Duties and Responsibilities Load pallets into correct trailer according to store number Scan product and enter pallet into correct trailer Make sure correct identification labels are on all pallets of the product. Report any product discrepancies damages and variances to lead or supervisor. Loaders must promote a safe work environment through personal actions identify any safety concerns as well as cost saving opportunities Loaders must show a high level of responsibility Follow instructions for safely operating equipment Have an understandable knowledge of the Operator s Manual Maintain a clean neat organized work area at all times. Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs Other duties as assigned.Minimal Requirements Must be certified and able to operate Electric pallet jack Forklift Reach Ability to work independently Strong commitment to SAFETY Ability to pay close attention to detail meet deadlines and work with difficult individuals or task assignments Relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions must get along with co-workers without exhibiting behavioral extremes perform work activities requiring reasoning negotiating instructing persuading or speaking with others and respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor. Knowledge of warehouse operations Good communication skills Knowledge of GOLD STOCK (SAP) Detail oriented and excellent people skills Must be able to read and understand numbers and labels.
