This problem could in principle be solved by a 6th grader not because it s an easy problem (it isn t) butbeacuse a 6th grader does have the knowledge of the concepts needed but may not know how they apply to this problem.Each employee in a company is given a bonus consisting of a combination of gold and silver pieces. The gold to silver number of pieces ratio varies from employee to employee but each employee gets the same total (gold silver) number of pieces.
