The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City has an opening for a full-time Electrician Journeyman IV. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining inspecting repairing troubleshooting and testing more complex electrical equipment and electrical systems. Determines problems plans to repair or replace prepares cost estimate and discusses with supervisor.Requirements High School Diploma or GED or Trade School Certification and 24 months electrical experience. Certifications Licenses Must hold a current electrical journeyman s license with the State of Oklahoma and a valid Oklahoma Driver s License.Skills Ability to determine problems and or when and what kind of maintenance is needed advanced knowledge of electrical codes ability to read complex schematics blue prints and drawings knowledge of safety rules and regulations advanced knowledge of materials methods and tools used to repair or maintain electrical equipment or systems.
