Different phases include post staging and layout post installation quality control and remediation racking system component staging and assembly solar panel installation and connections. The work being done is 100% outdoors projects span multiple months offers lots of hours while giving an opportunity to learn valuable skills in construction as well as being an important part in the development of Renewable Energy Sources for local communities. Entry Level Construction Labor positions start at 16.00 p hour Solar Installer positions start at 18.00 p hour 20.00 Daily Fuel stipend offered to associates traveling between 61-80 miles of the project location Prefer applicants within 80 miles of the project locationDUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Measuring cutting assembling and bolting structural framing and solar modules Connecting installed solar panels to existing electrical systems and checking electrical installation for proper wiring polarity grounding or integrity of terminations Organizing and maintaining system components Maintaining documentation of completed installations Applying weather sealing to array building or support mechanisms Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions Tools providedPHYSICAL DEMANDS ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body Be able to work in various positions including but not limited to stooping standing bending over sitting kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time Be able to lift pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday Minimum of 6 months experience with construction or heavy labor projects required.
