Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) - Akron Ohio - JOB 20-00423 Hourly Rate 21.00 - 28.00 HR- Permanent Position with Benefits. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. Akron Area Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician s key responsibility will be to maintain & repair the facility & production equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of machine controllers. Troubleshooting molding machine auxiliary equipment issues. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED required Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred OR 5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance Experience with blow molding equipment desired but not required Must be proficient with pneumatics hydraulics and mechanical drawings Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and machine manuals Must have good math skills Process knowledge of PLC s Must have experience knowledge with methods practices tools and materials used in the general maintenance and repair of buildings equipment and machinery. Must have working knowledge of plastic molding machine operations. Able to operate common types of machine shop equipment Must have good mechanical aptitude Must have good communication skills (written & verbal) Must be able to lift up to 60lbs Must be able to climb ladders equipment and steep stairs Must be able at times to work outdoors in a variety of temperatures Must be able to work 3rd shift 11pm-7pm Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
