Sam Houston TexasPls. apply online at s www.1prospect.com FLSA Classification Exempt - SalariedEmployment Class Full Time RegularPosition Summary 1 Prospect Technologies LLC is actively seeking qualified Medical Simulations Training Analysts who supports the standardization of medical simulation capabilities for training and reviews medical sustainment training course material to determine best medical training simulation solution. They provide medical simulations training analysis and technical expertise to assist in the planning development coordination implementation execution and management of Army Medical Simulation training plans products policy and strategy. They serve as a project leader and complete tasks necessary to develop revise and maintain required training development documentation and policy services in support of the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) Directorate of Simulation (DoS) located at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Ft. Sam Houston TX.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide technical expertise analysis and project management on projects for development and application of complex combat MedSim Training solutions at the Army and Joint level. Provide subject matter expertise on simulation training methodologies representing the portrayal of military functional areas such as medical support medical service support maneuver maneuver support operational logistics mission command fires intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance. Analyze capabilities and develop applications of complex medical training simulations plans designs and implement training methodologies and concepts selects or evaluates training solutions relevant to real world environments and situations obtains and evaluates relevant data and documents methodologies procedures and sources used in developing simulations updates documentation to reflect changes and or enhancements and supports analytic studies or major phases of complex studies involving broad and varied subject matter in the areas of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3) development. Conduct research and development projects to advance the state of the art in development and application of operational MedSim training. Identifies appropriate technology and develops alternative approaches for the resolution of major MedSim related problems. Perform research and analysis in one or more specialized areas e.g. medical treatment simulations war games combat development models scenario development and specific Joint service or Army-related issues. Will span the domains of doctrine organization training material leadership personnel facilities and policy (DOTMLPF-P). Perform (or support performance of) studies involving combat developments subjects addressing scenarios and doctrine force analysis systems analysis or operations analysis. Conduct all levels of analysis to include but not limited to needs assessment business case analysis task job analysis content analysis gap analysis media analysis audience analysis delivery analysis etc. as required for effective design development integration implementation and evaluation of any training program or product. Provide a comprehensive analysis report that summarizes research and substantiates recommendations. Analysis tasks may require extensive research and the potential exists for off-site travel. Perform a variety of writing tasks ensuring cohesiveness clarity flow appropriate reading level and compliance with Army and grammatical writing guidelines. Writing tasks include but are not limited to information papers briefings narration scripts storyboards and documents previously identified. Specific tasks include Develop JCIDS documents IAW the TRADOC JCIDS writer guides. Develop supporting documents such as cost analyses IAW the TRADOC JCIDS writers guides. Actively participate in numerous meetings VTCs telecons with diverse teams regarding MedSim training development. Attend all DoS updates on virtual media when necessary. Coordinate with Government and Military Subject Matter Experts (SME) for the collaborative development of MedSim training requirements. Conduct research and develop analysis reports design documents and other documents necessary for the development of capability documents applying Army writing style. Assist with the standardization of simulation capabilities and review medical sustainment training to determine best medical simulation solutions. Apply DOTMLPF-P analysis to simulation capabilities and solutions to ensure training for the future force remains realistic rigorous and relevant. Determine Training Aids Devices Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) requirements and integrating all medical simulation capabilities in support of ICTLs MSTCs and provider sustainment training. Monitor training accurately and effectively in order to determine the training effectiveness and provide Commanders with an assessment of their casualty response plan. Conduct research and analyze MedSim training modernization requirements. Other duties as assigned. Education Certification & Experience RequirementsRequired Bachelor s degree in relevant academic discipline. (Associates degree and four (4) years experience may be substituted for Bachelor s degree. Alternatively eight (8) years experience may be substituted for Bachelor s degree.) Four (4) years experience in the medical simulations field. Specifically experience in one or more of the following areas Operational MedSim Training Analysis Training Operations and Execution Analysis Training Modernization Analysis Training Capability Integration Training Capability Development Simulation Training Technology Program and or Project Management experience Experience determining TADSS requirements and integrating all medical simulation capabilities in support of training ICTLs MSTCs and provider sustainment medical training Experience with Military medical training processes and Medical Modeling and Simulation (MMS) programs such as the Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) Central Simulation Committee (CSC) and the Synthetic Training Environment (STE) Ability to pass and maintain a Tier 1 (T1) Investigation (Federal background check). A current adjudicated T1 or higher investigation or Security clearance is preferred. Preferred Previous experience in one or more of the following areas Medical Simulation Training Centers (MSTC) Training Simulations Developing computer simulations Medical logistics Research and analysis Military acquisition experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required Medical simulations training concepts practices and procedures Understanding of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) Understanding of DOTMLPF-P and how it affects Army Medicine. Ability to apply DOTMLPF-P analysis to simulation training capabilities and solutions to ensure training for the future force remains realistic rigorous and relevant Ability to monitor training accurately and effectively in order to determine the training effectiveness and provide Commanders with an assessment of their casualty response plan Ability to apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to training issues Ability to development and implement modernization directives policies guidelines and procedures sufficient to assure training program accomplishment Knowledge of major issues program goals and objectives work processes and administrative operations that support operational medicine training Knowledge of applicable laws regulations policies and precedents which impact the Army s medical force In-depth knowledge of US Army operations doctrine and regulations to identify and define requirements Ability to conduct analytical studies of operations and procedures to determine effectiveness and recommend updates to policy and procedures Ability to monitor training accurately and effectively in order to determine the training effectiveness and provide Commanders with an assessment of their casualty response plan Ability to conduct research and analyze MedSim training to recommend modernization requirements and improvements Understanding of U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) regulations and the Analysis Development Design Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) process High level of initiative and judgment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Read write and speak English fluently Possess excellent written and oral communication skills Capable of performing a variety of writing tasks ensuring cohesiveness clarity flow and compliance with Army and grammatical writing guidelines Ability to interface professionally with senior military leadership Capable of learning and utilizing current and emerging military and commercial technology Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and incorporated programs to include Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook and Access and be able to troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software required for services being provided Ability to comply with established new and changing requirements regulations processes and procedures Working Conditions Working Environment Physical DemandsServices provided at government facility Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the government customer Position may require moderate local travel as well as occasional off-site travel based on Government requests Works under the supervision of the MedSim Training Project Manager Business Hours are generally Monday Friday 0700-1600 1 Prospect Technologies LLC is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
