Blackstone Ave. Fresno CA US 93726 is currently hiring for Quality Control.he Quality Control Technician assists the company s operation on a technical level to assure the safety and quality of all finished products starting from receiving raw materials through preparation to shipping. This is to be accomplished by enforcing and assuring the company s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and other duties as assigned.Job Functions Duties and Responsibilities It is required that this position actively supports Fruit Fillings Inc. and all employees and customers in a positive respectful manner. Possess a willingness to work harmoniously with others to get a job done. Conducts and records Pre-Op and Post-Op inspection of equipment and facility. Ensure allergen SOP is observed Observe production and warehouse crews for GMP SOP compliance Checks pouch and bottle seals weights lot codes & legibility of code and records results Conducts Brix & pH tests on products and records results conducts visual inspection of finished products Verifies traceability information regarding lot & batch codes on packaging Communicates with Operations Manager Shift Supervisor and Food Safety Manager Willingness to learn new tasks Essential Skills and knowledge Ability to speak read and write the English language bilingual a plus Ability to print neat & legible Detail oriented Follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Sanitary Operating Procedures (SSOPs) Ability to follow supervisor s directions Ability to work independently and as a team Qualification High school education or equivalent a plus Able to understand and follow directions and instructions Training in GMP s basic HACCP and identification and monitoring of allergens a plus Additional Requirements Must pass drug test and background investigation Reliable transportation Able and willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) o Hair nets beard nets bump cap gloves goggles rubber boots rain gear or other PPE as required by position Work overtime as needed Willingness to assist in other departments as needed requested Able and willing to work assigned shift schedule Physical Requirements Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time Frequently stoop bend kneel crouch climb reach twist grasp and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties Able to climb stairs Able to lift and move 30 lb. bags or containers repetitively throughout shift s jobs.peopleready.com jobs PR-1195185 Quality-Control Connect and network online with us www.facebook.com PeopleReadywww.linkedin.com company peoplereadywww.twitter.com _PeopleReadywww.youtube.com channel UCMdTbGeEvNwF7phVPT74TAg We will get to know you and connect you with jobs that match your skills experience and preferences.
