They are the key to the operations of sustainable energy units in residential and commercial areas. One of the most significant aspects of the position is the crafting and planning of the project site. Most solar panel installations are done outdoors but Installers sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electric grid. As an Installer you will also travel to numerous jobsites for your work. Critical Skills Expectations QualificationsEffectively coordinate and communicate with others. Must be able to comfortably lift 40 lbs climb ladders and in crawl spaces in varying hot and cold temperatures. Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction techniques.
