The PeopleReady Branch 6030 located at Liberty Township OH is currently hiring a < Inventory Control Clerk > Jo Description The Inventory Control Clerk must comply with all plant GMP SQF Quality and Safety Food Safety and Bio-Security procedures. Employees shall be trained for food safety food quality and maintaining regulatory requirements while providing the highest quality standard food products. All employees shall be trained and continuously work to improve their work process at the highest quality. Our Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for managing all inventory related activities pertaining to the needs of supply stock directly reporting to Senior Management. While working with purchasing warehouse staff and dispatch you will implement and execute inventory control measures to ensure the company maintains stock quotas while maximizing inventory control systems and paperwork accuracy. Responsibilities Include Elevate the company s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits generating savings rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital. Manage and maintain the company s material and stocked product inventory including stock locations. Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting inventory accuracy checks. Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete redundant packaging materials to maximize availability of working capital. Ensure that goods inward stock control department is well organized and controlled to sufficiently support production and the goals of the company. Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure. Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required. Ensure that any materials that are late or in holding are pursued until received. Provide routine management information on inventory performance Monitor and evaluate consumables usage & costs (when needed) Monitor & evaluate material utilization and scrap (when needed) Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory minimize costs and maximize working capital. Perform cyclic stock checks. Check and adjust floor collection data. Ensure work orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly. Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system. Manage control measures to ensure mistakes inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted addressed and resolved If needed operate tow motor to carry out duties in accordance with company specifications focusing on food safety and product quality (as dictated by the standards of SQF) and established warehouse goals. Adhere to established company policies and procedures regarding plant safety Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Strong mathematical aptitude reading comprehension and verbal communication skills Flexibility in shift scheduling Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to apply understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deliver outstanding results. Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics quality work performance attention to detail is a must and maintain a good working relationship with all other departments. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Ability to multitask and work in a team oriented fast-paced environment. Willingness to grow with the organization. Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and be able to identify and solve problems. Must have the ability to work off-shifts and weekends. Must have an excellent attendance record. Work may require physical strain such as long periods standing bending and walking in warehouse facility and lifting of moderately heavy items up to 50 lbs. such as packaging supplies and finish cases. Other physical demands include repetitive motion climbing crouching and reaching.
