We are currently looking for Full-Time certified Early Childhood Educator Assistant to meet the needs of children in our center. Job Title Early Childhood Educator AssistantJob Type Full-Time PermanentSalary 18 per hourWorking hours 30-40 hours per weekEmployer Royal Child Care (Sea Star Education Ltd.)Work Location 425 6th Street New Westminster BC V3L 3B1Start Date of Employment As soon as possibleNumber of vacancies 2Benefit 4% vacation pay Job Duties Engage and support in carry out child-care program and activities that support and promote development of children Support in activities and individualize the curriculum according to planned childcare programs to promote children s creativity and interests Assist in housekeeping duties to maintain and ensure the child s environment is healthy and safe Observe and track the abilities interests and needs of each child and report to Early Childhood Educator and supervisors Assist with infant and toddler with eating and toilet habits Arrange and prepare rooms for snacks lunch and naps Attend staff meeting to discuss progress of the children Assist the Early Childhood Educator and supervisor in record keeping Qualifications Completion of secondary school is required 7 months to less than 1 year experience in child care is required Completion of an Early Childhood Education Assistant certificate program or Post-secondary courses in Early Childhood Education may be required. Certification by British Columbia for Early Childhood Educators Assistant (E.C.E.A) is required Medical Examination Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) and Child Abuse Registry Check are required Working knowledge of English ability is required to communicate with parents and staffs Able to work in a team and support other staffs.
