Job DescriptionOverflow Parts Managements Manges excess inventory (i.e. if Toyota orders too many of one part or has parts left over the excess comes to this department) Keep detailed inventory of all parts by scanning them through an inventory system delivering them to Toyota as requested or picking orders for Toyota to pick up parts. For safety purposes associates must be 5 7 Wrap Guard Associates place film (cut by machine) on hoods and roofs of finished vehicles ready to be transported by rail car. This is assembly line work and a new piece of film must be placed every 53 or 62 seconds (depending which plant you work in) After film is cut foam wedges are used to smooth out bubbles in the film prior to loading on to the rail For safety purposes associates must be 5 7 Rail Inspection Finished vehicle inspection that takes place inside rail cars Must be able to climb ladders into the rail car walk through small spaces up to 1.5ft wide Looking for dents scratches and other deformities on the exterior of the vehicle.
