ResponsibilitiesSet up pilot plant equipment Operate of a wide range of equipment including existing systems as well as new technology Collection of experimental data Responsible for maintaining associate safety and food safety at all times in the Pilot Plant Participate in inventory process. Informs operations when new product or raw material needs to be ordered. Provides Quality control for finished product produced in the Pilot Plant and ensures that all products leaving the site are safe. Provide experimental support including insight into process product. Plans collects materials for and assist in trial production and development tests. Cleans and sanitizes equipment machinery and plant facility according to good manufacturing and sanitation practices. Performs other tasks as assigned. Clear and open communication (written and verbal) skills combined with problem solving and troubleshooting skills needed to maintain high team efficiency. Qualifications & ExperienceAbility to work in a team environment. Must have ability to learn to operate any of the process equipment as well as understand process and product testing requirements. Safety conscious. Quality conscious. Strong work ethics and ownership. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights. Ability to drive a forklift and pallet jack.
