We are currently seeking a Food Service Supervisor who will assist in all aspects of restaurant operations and floor management. Position Food Service SupervisorTerms of Employment Full-time PermanentWage 15.00 - 16.00 hour (depending on work experience)Working Hours 30 - 40 hours weekWorking Location 140 Lonsdale Avenue North Vancouver BC V7M 2E8Benefits 4% of Vacation Pay or 10 days paid vacation Free meals & TipsPosition Available 1Estimated Starting Date As soon as possibleDuties Plan organize schedule and supervise the work of restaurant staff Provide training to staff in job duties restaurant procedures sanitation and safety standards Develop restaurant procedures and coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate shift Order food and beverage ingredients operating supplies and equipment for daily operation Record food and beverage inventory care of food and supplies food count and leftovers and compile operating expenses Maintain and ensure a clean and hospitable environment by following Food Premises Regulation including standards for food production and handling cooking maintenance of equipment sanitation employee hygiene customer service etc. Employment Requirements Completion of secondary school is required Completion of a community college program in food service administration hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or several years of experience in food preparation or service are required Ability to communicate effectively orally Ability to establish and maintain amicable working relationships with restaurant staff.
