We are hiring for a civilian Medical Assistant (MA) to assist with Veteran s Medical Disability Exams (MDE) in Winston Salem NC. Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays 401k Plan The Medical Assistant (MA) must have the following qualifications Provider must meet the qualifications to practice as a Medical Administrative Assistant Current license in the State you will be practicing in Capable of performing EKG PFT Blood Draws and ABIs and Cross-trained as a Phlebotomist Be organized detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills Ability to use computer applications answer telephones greet patients arrange x-rays labs ECHO services follow up on testing results and manage office and medical supplies Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus but not required Positions like this are available across the U.S. with Per Diem PRN Part-Time and Full-Time options available.
