We offer continued learning opportunities through in-house training and continued education.We are currently recruiting for a highly driven Product Quality Technician to ensure that only the highest quality Chapin products reach our customers. Functioning under the Quality Engineer the Quality Tech will ensure the quality of components sub-assemblies and finished products through inspection and functional testing in a light manufacturing environment. The Quality Tech will assist the shift supervisor with day-to-day production activities.Position being filled is for third shift. Shift from 10 30 PM to 7 00 AM.ESSENTIAL DUTIES Diligently follow quality management system procedures and instructions as required Participate as member of cross functional team as required Provide a high level of communication with all QA personnel Troubleshooting and resolution of quality issues Assist with quality metrics reporting Train production personnel as required Quality Assurance ambassador Quality alert communication Record and enter inspection data into spreadsheetsRequirements AAS technical degree or higher preferred Minimum 2 years related quality assurance experience Position requires standing walking for entirety of shift Excellent communication skills Strong work ethic with the ability to work well with others and under minimal supervision Proficient with inspection measuring instruments Strong Microsoft Office skills Ability to obtain CQT certification within one year of hireJob Type Full-timeSalary 14.00 to 18.00 hourPay may depend on skills and or qualificationsFor Consideration please submit your cover letter and resume to ccloen(at)chapingmfg.com AND mbrown(at)chapincustommolding.com along with any references and salary requirements you may have.
