Job DescriptionResponsible for physically performing fire and smoke repair water mitigation and other disaster restoration related activities under the guidance of certified technicians. This is a labor-intensive position. This position is progressing towards achieving the required mitigation certifications. ResponsibilitiesPerforms water mitigation under the supervision of certified technicians. Performs tarping boarding up mold remediation repair water extraction pack-out of contents removing disposing of non- salvageable materials and demolition. Performs water fire smoke damage repair as directed. Sets up and monitors air movers and or dehumidifiers. Maintains quality control on each job. Ensures compliance with insurance companies and company standards and guidelines. Ensures all documentation is completed and submitted. Reports any equipment malfunction that may occur. Reports any customer problems issues or damages found. Qualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record Previous experience with water fire smoke damage mold remediation and repair preferred Communication and Interpersonal skills Current IICRC Restoration Certifications- (WRT ASD FSRT OCT) are preferred at minimum certifications are in progress Strong and positive interpersonal skills Ability to communicate with the Supervisor Manager and customers Responsible for driving company vehicle (utility van) overseeing projects and associates and will need to be able to speak directly with customers on-site. Will need to be able to speak with Landlords property managers as well Ability to Move up to 15 pounds regularly and 15-20 lbs frequently by lifting carrying pushing pulling or otherwise repositioning objects. Exerting up to 50 lbs of force to move objects is required occasionally.
