LOCATIONColumbus Fleet Services POSITIONClass B Driver DESCRIPTIONPurpose Delivery of product to customers throughout Michigan and possibly OhioHours M-F 7AM to 3 30 PM Bonus Eligible - Home daily - no overnight required Essential Duties Will drive a tanker truck or a box truck with lift gate Loading and unloading of product at customer location by pumping oil out of drums and totes Some warehousing activities as required (forklift pallet jacks loading) Touch freight Loading in the morning and unloading when return to warehouse Completion of required paperwork including work orders signatures and possible COD s POSITION REQUIREMENTSKnowledge Skills and Abilities Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL-B license Must have a safe and verifiable driving record Must adhere to all safety guidelines including the use of restraining devices or barriers during inflation (tire cages) and the wearing of appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment goggles ear protection safety vests etc.) Must provide own safety footwear outerwear appropriate for all types of weather. Must meet federal commercial driving qualifications including possessing a valid DOT Medical Card and being at least 21 years of age. Airbrakes and Haz endorsement preferred Detail Oriented Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 pounds Non-exempt position with occasional overtime needed especially during the busy season April through October.
