The Trolley Earlier
I met you on the trolley earlier this evening when texting an ex-something-or-other. You had a dog in your lap I think a maltese. You sat across from me and I thought I saw bruises on your knee poking out of your jeans and asked if you were okay. I was in my powerchair and we exchanged names and I asked the name of your dog who you told me was 15-yrs.-old. You were crying upset about something but I couldn t make it out what you told me it was. We both got on (at) Old Town and you told me your car broke down that you were going to see family in El Cajon but I got off at the SDSU stop and turned to wave goodbye before the trolley took off again.
