A long-standing full-service consulting firm is seeking to hire a Civil Engineer Project Manager to play an important role in the municipal engineering department doing water resource design. Typical projects involving site civil design water distribution street rehabilitation sanitary and stormwater infrastructure design.REQUIREMENTSBachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering 10 years of Relevant Experience preferably in a consulting firm environment. Must have an active Ohio PE License. Will consider candidates who will be able to obtain their Ohio PE License within 9 months of being hired. Must have Civil and Water Resource Design including Sanitary and Stormwater Management Hydraulic Hydrologic Modeling. Seeking candidates that have prior experience managing staff interacting with clients building client relations planning & organizing. Assist with development of project scope budgeting and scheduling. MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) experienced. Must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Perform as lead engineer in the development and application of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and analyses related to a variety of water resource engineering design projects. Mentor junior staff in various areas including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling. Develop high-quality technical reports design drawings and specifications Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques procedures and criteria to carry out engineering evaluation and design tasks. DUTIES Prepare engineer s construction cost estimates and evaluate quantities. Oversee manage subcontractors for project related field work or site inspections. Prepare engineer s construction cost estimates and evaluate quantities. Serve as a task manager leading technical aspects and design team for an overall project. Attend client and public meetings. Experience with developing an office is a plus.
