Luke 16 19-31 This is a KJV Bible study guide please use this to read and study the above verses in Luke. Jesus describes paradise (heaven) here. Part of what He tells us in these verses is that a division barrier or gulf in paradise exists which cannot be crossed. I wonder why One can see across it though. Remember Jesus is God in the flesh and God cannot lie. Why did one man go to one side and the other man go to the opposite side is there a judgment involved here in other words a reason for the two sides What are the differences between the sides described here by Jesus What part of us must stand before the judgment seat of Christ Our flesh bodies are dead and buried. Even though their flesh bodies died they definitely are alive here.
