Learning how to navigate in an ever-changing world that is still relatively new to mental health treatment can be overwhelming and sometimes isolating not only for those who live with a mood disorder but also their loved ones and friends. Knowing that you are not alone on your journey is an important part of wellness but reaching out to others can be difficult and sometimes seem impossible. On the flip side it can be challenging for someone to watch a friend or family member struggle with mood disorder symptoms and not know what to say or do. Depression and bipolar disorder can be isolating illnesses but our support group can help you connect with others who have been there as well. We are here to help In addition to participating in the group meetings you will meet people from your community who can relate to your experiences. You may learn valuable information about mental health professionals and services in your area as well as tips and techniques others use to manage their illness. Our Support Group is where you will find comfort and direction in a confidential and supportive setting and where you can make a difference in the lives of others.
