I STARTED BY SENDING THE FRAME TO PAUL NEWMAN CAR CREATIONS IN CALIFORNIA FOR THE CONVERTION TO ACCEPT C-4 SUSPENTION. WHEN I GOT THE FRAME BACK I WELDED THE HOLES CLOSED THAT WEREN T BEING USED AND PRIMED BLOCK SANDED AND APPLIED MATALIC STEEL GRAY BASE COAT CLEAR COAT PAINT. I FOUND THE 96 CORVETTE SUSPENTION IN PHILADELPHIA PA. I GOT THE COMPLETE FRONT CRADLE AND FRONT SUSPENTION A DANA 44 REAR AND REAR SUSPENTION. I DISASSEMBLED EVERY NUT AND BOLT. ALL OF THE ALUMINUM PARTS WERE SANDED CLEAN OF ALL CASTINGS MARKS THEN POLISHED TO A HIGH LUSTER AND CLEAR COATED THEN REASSEMBLED WITH NEW BALL JOINTS POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS AND UNIVERSALS. THE ROTORS AND CALIPERS WERE REPLACED WITH C-4 ON THE REAR AND C-5 ON THE FRONT ALL FROM VBP BRAKES. I ALSO CHANGED THE SPRINGS TO VBP COPOSITE MONOSPRINGS WITH THE FRONT HAVING ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT AND BILSTEIN SHOCKS. THE NEW SUSPENTION WAS BOLTED INTO THE CONVERTED FRAME AND IT FIT PERFECT. FOR THE WHEELS I BOUGHT A SET OF 2005 CORVETTE WHEELS AND PAIRED THEM WITH A SET OF FIRESTONE FIREHAWK SZ 50EP 245 45ZR17.
