Jr. Transportation Engineer - AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation Calculations - Canton OH - JOB 20-00113 Salary Range 52K - 63K - Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A long-standing Civil Engineering consulting firm is seeking a Jr. Transportation Engineer to add to their long-term stable team. This person will have knowledge of ODOT procedures & contracts to assist on highway & roadway projects. REQUIREMENTSBachelors or Masters of Science in Civil or Transportation Engineering. Registered EIT in the State of Ohio preferred with the desire and ability to pursue obtaining their Ohio PE license in the future. Candidates must have 1 to 3 years experience in transportation engineering preferably in a consulting firm environment. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and or MicroStation. Other specific software experience such as InRoads Highway Capacity Software (HCS) OTISS and Synchro is preferred. MS Office Word Excel & Outlook. Assist and guide and designers and drafters. Able to run calculations for transportation roadway engineering projects. Must be knowledgeable of engineering codes and standards. Assist on highway roadway projects design including layout profiles cross sections drainage grading utilities quantities and cost estimates in compliance with ODOT standards and specifications. Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Salary Range 52K - 63K - Permanent Position with Benefits.
