Paramus Area Company is seeking a Senior Chemist. The Senior Chemist key responsibility will be to formulate all types of skin care sun care color cosmetics and hair care products showcasing companies products. Provide technical support assisting sales staff and customers attend customer visits to provide presentations and assist in the training of distributors.REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Science Degree (Chemistry strongly preferred) Must have 5 years experience of emulsion formulating and in-depth experience managing product development from inception through testing scale up and transition to manufacturing. Ability to read and interpret written instructions and analyze data. Strong scientific summarizing. Evaluate formulas interpret results and communicate improvements. Hair care experience is a plus Microsoft Office (Word Power Point and Excel) Must be proficient operating the following instrumentation viscometer pH meter homogenizer and microscope. Must have excellent communication skills (verbal written and interpersonal skills) Must have good multi-tasking skills and work independently with limited supervision. Able to travel locally to customer locations and trade shows at times air travel may be involved (International travel may be considered) Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Salary Commensurate - Permanent Position with Benefits.
