An A& E consulting firm in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking to hire a Senior Architect Project Manager that has experience and broad knowledge in defense and life science projects. The successful candidate will have entrepreneurial skills and is expected to both service an active client base as well as grow this market sector within the firm. This is an integrated firm with a professional roster consisting of architects interior designers planners urban designers landscape architects structural and civil engineers and surveying professionals.REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Architecture degree. Master s degree is a plus. Must be a Registered Architect 10 -15 years experience in architecture Excellent written and communication skills excellent analytical and problem-solving skills good planning skills. Must have strong team building skills and experience. Must be able to lead several projects simultaneously. Strong leadership skills. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and or Revit. MS Office Word Excel Outlook experienced DUTIESLead assists a project team in development of the aesthetic and technical design and the preparation of architectural design and construction documents including drawings and specifications. Collaborates with or serves as the Project Designer for the design of the project. Leads in organizing the drawing BIM modeling efforts. Develops checks and coordinates technical aspects of the design of a project. Prepares the project code review with other senior staff and consultant input. Actively participate in stakeholder meetings with heads of departments specialists and others to collect and refine program needs for manufacture and laboratory facilities. Assist in developing project scope plan and services during the process. Assist in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and developing relationships potential clients. Coordinates with consulting engineer s documents and specifications.
