How can our patience be strengthened Human patience is developed through hardships.Romans 5 3 And not only so but we glory in tribulations also knowing that tribulation worketh patience James 1 3 Knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience.James 1 4 But let patience have her perfect work that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing. Our patience is related to the quality of our relationship with God.Revelation 14 12 Here is the patience of the saints here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. God s people are patient with each other.Ephesians 4 2 With all lowliness and meekness with longsuffering forbearing one another in love (longsuffering patience) Those who are patient inherit what has been promised.Hebrews 6 12 That ye be not slothful but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Be patient for the coming of the Lord.James 5 7 Be patient therefore brethren unto the coming of the Lord.
