Looking for full time Machining Inspector in Mississauga Ontario 2 positions are available.Main duties and as follows but not limited to.Verify dimensions of machined parts or tooling using micrometers verniers callipers height gauges optical comparators co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) or other specialized measuring instruments Maintain repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators fixed gauges height gauges and other measuring devices Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor Complete and maintain inspection reports. Perform and compile First Article Inspection Reports for new products including assembly of entire AS9102 doc package. Perform and compile Final Inspection reports for final certification and shipment of product to customer. Qualification experience Must have minimum 5 year s experience inspecting metal parts preferably for aerospace industry. Must have very strong and confident ability to use measuring devices such as micrometers height gages shadow graphs profile projectors bore gages etc. Experience in operation and programming of CMM is an asset (Mitutoyo - COSMOS GEOPAK). Experience and knowledge of gears and splines is an asset. Hours of work are 8 hours day Mon-Fri. Pay is 23.50 hour.Please send resumes via email careers(at)avion-tech.com
