Looking for full time Manufacturing Technologist in Mississauga Ontario 2 Positions are available.Main duties and as follows but not limited to.Develop and conduct production inventory and quality assurance programs Design plant layouts and drawings for shop floor using AutoCad and or Solid Works. Develop applications using CNC machines and other manufacturing processes and operations. Assist in the design of plant layouts Review and submit final certification document packages to customer for delivery approval. Conduct work measurement or other studies Collect and compile operational or experimental data and assist in the development of estimates schedules specifications and reports Validate techniques for heat treatment chemical processing NDT and or others submitted by vendors against customer requirements. Collect and analyze data and samples in support of quality assurance Develop manufacturing and processing procedures and variables set machine or equipment controls oversee production and inspect processes. Develop production processes quality assurance programs plans and schedules Investigate and disposition of non-conforming product. Developing rework or repair instructions and submitting to customer for approval. Qualifications and Requirements Mechanical Engineering Technician Technologist or bachelor s degree or equivalent working experience Minimum 3 years hands-on experience working in shop environment or working very closely with shop personnel to develop manufacturing instructions CNC programming or equivalent. Minimum 5 years manufacturing engineering experience required. Experience in aerospace environment including familiarity with AS9100 is an asset. Strong knowledge in developing manufacturing processes for machined parts and assemblies is required. This includes strong knowledge in milling turning shaping inspection processes heat treatment and finishing processes (NDT passivation CAD chrome anodize chemical coatings prime and paint dry film lubricants etc.). Knowledge of gear and spline geometry is an asset. Willing to train. Hours of work are 8 hours day Mon-Fri. Pay is 24 hour. Please send resumes via email careers(at)avion-tech.com
