Hope For Christmas

I never once thought I would be asking the community for help. I must admit this is really difficult for me to do and this is my only chance at being able to shed some light down the way of 5 kids. Last month I was terminated from my job because of my inability to work 12 hrs. My brother was a temporary worker and his assignment ended one week before Thanksgiving. My sister is a stay at home mom and gets support from her live in boyfriend of 4 years. We all live together we split the bills and the groceries. I have to be honest and tell you that things are going downhill fast. Our rent was raised last month to 2600.00 before the rent control law was passed. We ve been struggling so much with the rent bills and food. There s not enough money to buy a tree or to buy a gift for any of the kids. The kids don t understand the hardship of financial struggles or the fact that there may not be a christmas this year. Seeing their little faces sad really hurts me. This is why I m asking for the community to please help me. Between us siblings we have 5 kids in our home. 2 boys ages 3 & 7And 3 girls ages 11 6 and 4. I wouldnt ask for help if I didnt need it and one thing I will do is pay it forward to anyone who is struggling like my family is. Please help me shed some light down the way. I was too late to register for the free christmas tree and Christmas baskets gifts and toys. Registration has been closed in most areas we live near. I am grateful for you taking the the time to read this. Once again anything would be very much appreciated.
