This 1955 Lancia Aurelia B20S GT is a Series IV left-hand-drive model finished in maroon over a Cuoio Chiaro leather interior. Chassis 1227 is believed to be one of a batch of about 10 Aurelias produced in late 1955 and shipped to the US to be sold on the West Coast. It was reportedly displayed at the 1956 Pebble Beach Concours and notable previous owners include Bugatti collector George Sackman Desmond Bonnington Jr and longtime Pebble Beach Concours chairman Jules J. Heumann. Power is from an aluminum 2.5-liter V6 paired with a rear-mounted 4-speed transaxle and equipment includes a de Dion rear axle and Nardi floor-shift conversion.
