Senior Buyer
We are seeking a Senior Buyer for our high-tech manufacturing client located near Nashua NH.Responsible for soliciting quotes negotiating purchasing and expediting materials equipment and supplies from vendors. Managing in-house and contract manufacturer s inventories. Creates and analyzes purchasing metrics and supplier s performance ratings.Must be a self-starter with strong communication negotiation cost-reduction technical and engineering skills and have a solid understanding of various manufacturing concepts practices and procedures. Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices and International Organization for Standardization. Must have experience with MS Office products. ERP experience is strongly preferred. Some travel is required (domestic and international).Bachelor s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of five years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. Production management experience is preferred. APICS is a plus.Competitive salary and benefits package. Local candidates within commute distance only.
