Clinical Systems AdministratorLocation Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH) Fort Belvoir VirginiaPls. apply online at www.1prospect.com careersPosition Summary 1Prospect is seeking a qualified Clinical Systems Administrator to provide state-of-the-art system administration solutions and support for hardware and software platforms to include Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) and COTS applications that reside on them.This includes designing creating managing and maintaining a secure well-functioning and maximally available IT infrastructure in support of Medical Communication Infrastructure Technical Support Services to Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and its ancillary clinics within the National Capital Region Medical Directorate to include Dumfries Health Center Dumfries VA Fairfax Health Center Fairfax VA and DiLorenzo Tricare Health Clinic Arlington VA.Duties and Responsibilities Provides hardware (Server PC peripherals) Operating System (OS) and software infrastructure support Provides subject matter expertise and resources to install maintain and configure and optimize PC and Network Operating Systems to include Microsoft Linux and VMware server operating systems. Provide program management technical support analysis data management server management to sustain the operational computing environment. Designs implements and maintains policies and procedures in support of but not limited to data storage backup recovery server software and firmware upgrades and standard server maintenance. Provides all areas of Data Center Program Technical Support to include site assessments preventive maintenance and emergency and corrective services. Responsible for the management of UNIX Linu Solaris Macintosh Windows VMware and other operating systems as required. Assists with new IM IT projects affecting network operations IAW current Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide (DISA STIG). Support application servers web servers print servers virtual file servers reporting tools etc. and all tasks associated with their backup recovery performance and operations. Install maintain configure and optimize PC and Network Operating Systems to include Microsoft Linux and VMware server operating systems. Provide technical support analysis data management and server management to sustain the operational computing environment. Design implement and maintain policies and procedures in support of but not limited to data storage back-up recovery server software and firmware upgrades and standard server maintenance. Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art hardware software solution sets etc. Provide all areas of Data-Center Program Technical Support to include site assessments preventive maintenance and emergency and corrective services. Develop and maintain comprehensive life-cycle management plan to include a technology implementation roadmap. Provide management of Uniplexed Information and Computing System (UNIX) Linux Solaris Macintosh Windows VMware and other operating systems within FBCH. Support and maintain the operating systems patches upgrades and apply Information Assurance (IA) requirements for all systems within FBCH ensure that these systems are online and available to FBCH customers and ensure backups and contingency issues are addressed in the event of failures. Remediate all security vulnerabilities on all servers desktops and infrastructure devices to meet security and operational requirements. Required Experience Minimum Qualifications Active Secret Clearance CompTIA Security Industry standard Server Cert (e.g. Server 2012-2019 Server Linux ) Five (5) years of Microsoft server administration and support experience with three of those years in a healthcare setting. Minimum three (3) years of experience in life cycle maintenance and support of clinical IT systems and applications with two of those years in a healthcare setting. Five (5) years of Microsoft Office Applications experience. Must possess required certifications per DoD 8570.1M for privileged level access. Preferred Experience Bachelor s degree in IT IS or related field ITILv3 certification highly desired.
