Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for our manufacturing development and research client located near Hartford Vermont.Responsible for working as part of a team applying engineering principles in statics dynamics fluid flow heat transfer and mechanical design to aid in the development of turbomachinery hardware and other specialized products such as fuel pumps for the next-generation rocket turbo pumps turbomachinery test rigs air dynamometers gas turbine engines advanced diffuser technology innovative turbocharger technology and modular hydro turbines.MS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of seven years of experience in the field of mechanical design analysis. Turbomachinery experience is preferred.Must be proficient in the use of GD& T to produce review high-quality manufacturing drawings. Experience managing and leading projects. Able to perform advanced mechanical analysis using FEA tools such as ANSYS. Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
