They will prepare instruction manuals how-to guides articles organizational level documents and other supporting documents for end users customers and training purposes. They may also edit design and conduct research. They will have excellent writing skills and a firm grasp on the subject they are writing on. The successful candidate must be highly proficient in preparing technical documents for DoD customers such as but not limited to System Design Document System Requirement Document Technical Report to support a detailed description of the components of the system that will be prototyped along with various data flows. Technical Report to support documentation to describe the individual Live Demonstrations as defined by the vendor and which support the Milestone descriptions Technical Report to support a summary for migrating from existing framework to proposed framework along with planning data to support development of a prototype system Technical Report to support prototypes its capabilities and data to describe the design and updates including how to verify product with expected outcomes or some metrics measures based on requirements defined by the vendor. Also include description of the live demonstrations supporting each prototype. In addition provide updates to software and design documentation updated verification documents and installation documentation including installation process and events descriptions and configuration settings. Provide technical report CDRLs for all prototypes as defined by the vendor Technical Report to support software prototype its capabilities and data to describe the design and updates including how to verify product with expected outcomes or some metrics measures based on requirements defined by the vendor. Technical Report for all prototypes as defined by the vendor Technical Report to support prototype and documentation its capabilities and data to describe the design and updates including how to verify product with expected outcomes or some metrics measures based on requirements defined by the vendor. In addition provide Technical report CDRL to support Experiment with more future enhancements to determine feasibility of integrating proposed future enhancements including documentation Technical Report to support definition of implementation and test large-scale prototype its capabilities and data to describe the design and updates including how to verify product with expected outcomes or some metrics measures based on requirements defined by the vendor. Also including Large scale prototype end-user documentation and technical documentation Technical Report to support integration of component-level prototype its capabilities and data to describe the design and updates including how to verify product with expected outcomes or some metrics measures based on requirements defined by the vendor. Also including integration of component-level prototype end-user documentation and technical documentation Technical Report to support testing and validation large-scale prototype its capabilities and data to describe the design and updates including how to verify product with expected outcomes or some metrics measures based on requirements defined by the vendor. In addition provide Refinement of large-scale prototype to improve functionality and support 30 to 40 users Construct remaining smart containers (total of 40) and single-board devices (total of 10) Acquire remaining smart phones (total of 20) and End-user documentation and technical documentation Technical Report to support Demonstration of the large-scale prototype its capabilities and data to describe the design and updates including how to verify product with expected outcomes or some metrics measures based on requirements defined by the vendor. Technical Report to support any other documentation need to support the effort as described by the vendor Meeting Minutes Integrated Master Schedule Transition Plan Duties & Responsibilities Clarify complex content or materials using set standards conciseness and appropriate terminology Edit materials developed by other writers Proofread Provide diagrams photographs sketches or charts to illustrate information Assist with layout of materials for publication Arrange distribution typing or duplication of materials Create maintain and update online help documentation Remain up to date on changes in product technology methods and other materials Examine mockups drawings specifications or product samples to integrate production sequences and operating procedures Perform research and collect information Interview subject matter experts Follow standard templates guidelines or style guides Type edit and format documents Facilitate periodic reviews of documents Track documents versions and changes Validate content Other duties as assigned All duties are subject to change by the government customer Minimum Qualifications Experience Bachelor s Degree in related field or equivalent experience Three (3) years of experience in technical writing and product documentation Superior technical writing and communication skills Superior command of the English language including rules usage spelling and grammar Advanced skills with MS Office Suite Industry-specific skills knowledge (i.e. Networking Systems Cybersecurity etc.) Possess excellent oral and written communication skills Read write and speak English fluently Excellent research and exploration skills Must be detailed oriented Knowledge Skills & Abilities Ability to take complex technical information and translate it to users with non-technical backgrounds Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently against tight deadlines Ability and desire to adapt to accommodate multiple customers needs Desire and aptitude to learn new skills Self-motivated and able to work alone with little supervision or as part of a team Be capable of learning and utilizing current and emerging military and commercial technology 1Prospect Technologies LLC is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
