It has history and is a collectable piece of fire apparatus. It originally came from Santa Cruz City Fire Department. It would be a good period correct movie studio rental vehicle. It was then used at the Scott Valley Fire Protection District for years as their fire engine. It was later purchased by a private party at auction in 2011 in 2014 it was donated to the Quartz Valley Reservation Fire Department. It has been sitting outside since. It has not been used by us while in our possession. It starts up and runs and drives. Tires are weather checked however they hold air. They are tube type. Both batteries are dead. Truck should start with a group 65 battery.It has a Detroit diesel engine believed to be original. Allison automatic transmission. Our reserve is held at 2500 as we know the value of the running gear alone. This would make a great museum or parade piece for some collector. I would not recommend driving it home. It is located near the city of Yreka CA. Original older photos (taken 2012) are shown as 1514 Since then the emergency lights have been removed.There is a small amount of rust below the doors as shown. The most recent photos are shown (2018 2019) and the truck is faded. I have driven it in the past and it seems to runs and shifts well. I will try to upload running video as time allows.
