Proven ability to create compelling and succinct messages and presentations. Visual design or graphic skills ability to shoot photos or ad hoc videos. Highly organized and demonstrating effective project management skills to operate in a fast-paced environment and meet concurrent deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate and support team initiatives. Attention to detail ability to maintain confidentiality professional outgoing personality. Communications Associate duties will work 30-40 hours per week depending on workflow Create engaging content for internal and external communication channels (digital and print) for target audience. Interview key personnel and write concise engaging copy (following Associated Press style) to communicate key messages aligned with corporate strategy and values. Topics include but not limited to products technologies corporate citizenship HR programs corporate initiatives and employee recognition. Follow up as needed to develop approved final copy to meet production deadlines. Gather images and secure usage rights. Proofread and finalize submissions from contributors. Coordinate posting and distribution of approved stories and collateral in channels that include but are not limited to intranet email digital signage print and internal or external social media. Store documentation and collateral for assignments in team s shared database. Support regional Digital Signage Network. Create and edit PowerPoint slides to communicate clear take-away messages incorporate text and graphics resize photos or retrieve key visuals as needed. Collaborate with graphic designers to improve visual appeal of slides create new templates or videos. Serve as department back-up to deploy slides through content management system maintain system schedule and documentation support expansion of network and coordinate language translations as needed. Event management campaigns or special initiatives. Administrative support such as creating surveys updating portal pages distributing desk drops sourcing and distributing employee gifts and sourcing images Ability to work independently as well as collaborate and support team initiatives.
