Sushisi Enterprises Ltd. dba Sushi S Japanese Restaurant in Burnaby is looking for a Full-Time and permanent cook. -Position Cook -Work Hours 8 hrs per day 40 hrs per week (full-time) Permanent -Wage 22.00 hour -Benefit 10 days paid vacation per year Requirements - Experience Min 2-3 years of experience in commercial cooking is required - Language Basic English speaking is required - Education Completion of high school education is required Job Duties - Prepare and cook Japanese cuisine such as Sashimi Nigiri Maki Aburi and etc.- Oversee sushi bar operation of hygiene sanitation cleanliness and etc.- Monitor food supplies ingredients and equipment- Determine the size of food portions- Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation for sushi bar operation We welcome applications from underrepresented groups including newcomers older workers youths and first nations.
