Group Home Services (Caregiver) Part Time & Full Time Position 11.00 per hour (based upon experience) 30-40 hours per week. Round the clock shifts available Overview Pleasant Living Family Group Home (PLFGH) is currently expanding our group home services which serve children and young adults with developmental disabilities. Our services are designed to assist individuals in acquiring retaining and improving the self-help socialization and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in home and community-based settings. We have immediate openings for Group Home Support Staff and Lead Staff who are compassionate dedicated and looking for an exciting career opportunity with advancement potential.Support Staff Job Details1 on 1 support in all aspects of daily living and personal care. Create a positive and nurturing environment Transport members to all assigned activities Goal plan implementation Some paperwork Administer medication Assist with cooking cleaning & laundry Minimum QualificationsSupport Staff21 years of age High school or equivalent Fingerprint Card A completed declaration of criminal history (must have clean record) Exhibits competency in the field of developmental disabilities. Experience with dually diagnosed members is a plus Valid driver s license preferredTraining & Certification Requirements A current CPR certificate A current First Aid certificate A current Article 9 certificate Client Intervention Techniques Must complete training within two weeks after being hired. Experience Requirements Three References. (acceptable references) Up to two (2) previous employer references One (1) character reference ( i.e . teacher pastor prior supervisor current PLFGH employee) no family references please Three (3) months experience implementing and documenting performance in individual programs (specific training strategies) Three (3) months experience providing habilitation services under the direct supervision of an individual who is qualified to provide habilitation To apply please reply with your resume
