Retired middle-aged RN with 22 years of nursing service. Extensive experience with geriatric patients rehab nursing homes and hospice. Some experience with home health. I am quite aware of how difficult if not impossible it is to find flexible dependable safe compassionate affordable and trustworthy in-home caregivers. My fee is negotiable because I want to help and because I have limitations on what I can do. The fee for in-home care whether we agree on an hourly rate or flat-rate will depend on a number of factors work load environment number of hours needed and what is affordable and reasonable. I am unable to do heavy lifting or provide total care- such as frequent transfers or strenuous bathing. Outside of heavy work I can do just about anything. I will cook do some cleaning (including laundry vacuuming sweeping dishes etc as necessary) and keep things clean behind me administer meds drive to appointments do errands shop provide friendly loving and caring companionship and assist with perform easy-moderate personal and ADL care. I have my own car and an exceptional driving record. No criminal record or encumbered nursing license. I do not smoke. I do not have human dependents. Pets are no problem. I ll be sure to take care of them too (Although I d be iffy about reptiles and rodents.)I can offer assurance in quality and exceptional care. I bring to the table a bachelors degree in nursing and more than two decades of experience. I will be able to provide safe professional dedicated diligent and thoughtful care for your loved one or loved ones. I can effectively manage chronic illnesses enteral feeding port implants IVs wound care medical equipment (DME) prosthetics catheters and much more. Palliative terminal end-of-life care and emotional support for your loved one and the family are within my expertise should that time come.A long-term position is what I seek. I am available any day and any hour. I will help with your scheduling demands whether it be certain days hours or shifts. You can rest assured that your family member(s) will be cared for when your schedule becomes demanding unexpected or you require several days of respite care travel or vacation. My schedule is incredibly flexible and it can include nights overnights weekends and holidays. I am not a live-in but it is possible for me to stay in the home for scheduled days or up to a week ( -) if needed. Leon and Wakulla counties only.
