Shiatsu is Japanese acupressure consisting of a series of pressure points to harmonize the Qi (Chi) yin and yang. This modality can be soothing and gentle and it can also be deep and appreciably therapeutic. Swedish follows your Shiatsu treatment unless you choose otherwise. Swedish is done using a non-scented oil and consists of long flowing strokes towards the heart known as centripetal stroking among other techniques like kneading (petrissage) and tapping using the hands in a quick alternating fashion (tapotement). Massage will deeply relax you help digestion and improve circulation just to name a few benefits.
