Technical Support Engineer - Orrville Ohio - JOB 19-00197 Salary Range 60K - 70K Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. Orrville Area Manufacturing Company is seeking a Technical Support Engineer. The Technical Support Engineer s key responsibility will be delivering customers exceptional service & support achieved by providing expedient precise and cost-effective service which is conducted in-house on company equipment. Assembly and testing of various company products. Keep detailed records that document repair and test activities. REQUIREMENTSHigh School Degree or GED required Ideal Candidates will have either sufficient College Technical School or Military education Highly familiar with industrial process control (PID Control of heated cooled vessels enclosures). Highly familiar with heat transfer and fluid flow related to industrial gas emissions analysis. Knowledge of potentiometric output signals and milliamp loops is required. Knowledge of HART protocol FFB protocol RS232 433 485 and Modbus is highly desired. Experience Knowledge with electronic components & circuits Embedded microprocessor technology Instrumentation & controls and Data acquisition systems is highly desired. Experience with electronic test equipment. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be familiar with the Periodic Table (specifically gases) Knowledge of inert elements acids bases and balancing chemical reaction equations a plus. Must have excellent math skills (college algebra level) Must be able to lift up to 100lbs and 50lbs overhead. Must be able to work occasional holidays and or weekends to meet deadlines. Must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) Seeking individuals who have a strong sense of commitment and who has potential to becoming a key employee-owner within the company.
