Big fluffy affectionate Jojo is seeking a calm and quiet home with adults of any age or with a family whose polite children are age 10 and above. He has lived with another cat and might be amenable to sharing his new home with a mellow resident feline but only after slow and careful introductions have been made. When he arrived at the shelter he stopped eating for awhile until staff discovered that he is a social eater(not picky) and will do best when he has human companionship at mealtimes to encourage him to eat. It might take Jojo a little time to adjust to a new home so set him up in a small space of his own with all his kitty essentials. Visit him often as he is definitely a people-oriented guy and thrives on social interaction including petting and regular but brief grooming sessions.
