Jake is a survivor from the Louisiana flooding that took place in August. He is a happy active puppy who loves to run and play with toys. Jake is in a foster home where he is learning house manners and is in the beginning stage of housetraining.This cutie is a catahoula mix the official canine of Louisiana. The ideal home for a catahoula is one with a fenced yard and opportunities for the dog to perform its natural work of tracking and herding. He will require exercise daily as well as firm guidance and training. Catahoulas are excellent family dogs who are affectionate loving protective and a dedicated companion.Puppies need proper training and socialization to grow into fabulous adult dogs. It takes dedication and effort and is a lifelong commitment.
