Handsome Harpo is a bit of a shy guy who has had a rough time recently. He arrived at the shelter as a stray with an injured leg which required surgery and a period of recuperation. Now fully healed he s ready to find his forever home. This gentle fellow will do best in a home with folks who will keep him safely indoors for many reasons. His injury has left him with a slight limp which might inhibit his ability to escape the dangers lurking outside and his sweet white face and pink nose put him at risk for skin issues from exposure to the sun. That being said a shady secure outdoor enclosure would be a great way for Harpo to enjoy the best of all worlds.Affectionate Harpo is a champion cuddler and will love to snuggle into your arms or on your lap for some serious petting grooming and hanging out. A cautious boy Harpo will need some time to adjust to a new living situation. Give him a quiet small room to call his own for a few weeks until he feels safe and comfortable. Plan to visit him often talking softly while interesting him in gentle play with wand toys plenty of petting and lots of cozy time together. Once he seems relaxed he may be ready to check out the rest of the home one room at a time. Always leave the way open for him to return to his sanctuary for rest.
