Meet three-month-old Simon a wonderful specimen of the loving cuddly amazing personalities that orange red tabby males are known for Someone cruelly abandoned Simon at the farm program across from his foster mom s job in Audubon when employees heard his plaintive meows they knew who to call and his foster mom rescued him right away. Simon started purring as soon as she touched him and he has not stopped since He purred through two baths vet s exams and multiple car rides and he has kept his purrbox running while eating sleeping and playing at his foster home. He was filthy flea-infested filled with worms and a full pound underweight when he was rescued one week later and he was like a whole new cat. He gained half a pound in just three days Like all kittens he loves to eat several meals per day play nonstop crash for a nap (preferably on his foster mom s lap) and then do it all over again. Feathered toys are his favorite.Simon LOVES other cats and really likes rubbing on them and having his head washed by the maternal female in his foster home. He does take cues appropriately if they tell him to leave him alone. He met a small dog once and was very scared so he will not be good with a dog right away. However he is such a resilient little man that if his adopter felt comfortable with slow dog cat introductions he could probably come to love them too and that goes for all new situations--give him a little time to settle in and you will have the most loving and grateful little man who will bond to you for life.Simon is fully vetted including microchip and tested negative for FIV FeLV.
