A nice lady took him home and had a lot of vetting done hoping he could become a part of her family. But her other dogs were bigger and just would not accept him into their pack. After a particularly nasty fight Renny was taken to the vet s to board until help could be found. We got an urgent plea for help at midnight on Sunday night and in another one of Pap 911 s rescue efforts Renny was safe in the Pap 911 family. Renny is a real character He will bark and growl at other dogs hind feet and when they get tired and turn around and snap or growl at him he turns around and runs screaming like a banshee like someone is killing him As small as he is the bigger dogs easily get the best of him. For this reason he needs to be in a one dog family or a home that has a placid laidback female.Renny loves people and does not mind children but because he is so fragile he really is not a good companion for most children. He would love to be the constant friend of an older person who likes walks and cuddling. He loves to first walk all over you or play with you in bed then curl up beside you and sleep. He looks so innocent then how could you resist that sweet face Renny always has a bad hair day - his hair is so thick and curly along with the scars under his coat from the car accident and then the dog fights. But it is really beautiful and very full. His tail although short on bone has beautiful 11-12 hair and when he wags it it goes tick-tock tick-tock . Although he naturally has developed some arthritis he has so much joy and energy If you are looking for a sweetie to be a one and only and play with and love then Renny is for you. He is full of energy and loves to get into things but he will give you many hours of enjoyment and love - he just needs someone of his own a fenced yard where he is safe and a home where he is loved.
