Meet Izzy Izzy is a 2 1 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier who weighs about 7 pounds. Izzy is house-trained and crate-trained and will do best in a home without children.Izzy is in a wonderful foster home. Here s what they have to say about her Izzy is very sweet and trusting. She loves car rides and short walks. She ll jump up in your lap when you indicate it s ok and she ll curl up and sleep. She gets a little nervous around hyper adults or children but will adapt as long as you don t get in her space. She will growl bark if she feels threatened but has never bitten anyone in my house. I can tell she prefers a quiet environment but when company came over she adapted. If she has a soft pillow to curl up on and nap she s happy with that. She s very intelligent. She ll stand up on her hind legs and reach as if to say Pick me up . She sleeps in her crate without complaint even if someone walks past it at night she seldom barks. She eats well we ve tried canned dog food (Sheba) but she seems to prefer crunchy food. She doesn t eat much (1 4 cup of dry). She doesn t beg when you are eating but she won t say no to a scrap of chicken Appears to be house trained as we ve only had one accident on day 1 in our house and it was when she was very excited to go out.
