Autumn is a black and tan female German Shepherd puppy who is about 6 months old. She is a little shell shocked from her time in the shelter and needs a little patience from her new owners as she adjusts to her changing circumstances. Autumn is sweet and happy and likes to play with the other dogs in her foster home. Autumn rides well in the car has good leash manners and is kennel trained. She is still quite a puppy and will need continued training and leadership so she learns how to grow up to be a mannerly adult dog. She would be overwhelmed in too chaotic of home so would be best in an adult home. Her new owners will get to see her blossom into the wonderful dog she was meant to be. Like all puppies she needs owners who are home enough and have the time energy strength and patience to guide her through her chewing digging and mouthing stages (which can last until they are 2-3 years old) and who will provide regular exercise socialization and training so she will grow up to be a mannerly adult dog. All puppies bark incessantly dig and destroy things if they are left alone for long periods of time and thus need to be with owners who do not leave them alone for long hours. Priority will be given to families with experience raising German Shepherd Dog or similar puppies.
