Posting this for my friend. I have a 16 in Tex Tan saddle I am hoping to sell. I called the company and learned that it is from the 70 s and is what they refer to as an Arabian Cut. It is an extremely well made saddle and weighs atleast 50 lbs. It is very comfortable looks nice and has fit every horse I have put it on. I have a thoroughbred quarter horse with higher withers and it fits him as well. I have avoided parting with it but it is just too big for me now and is just sitting instead of on a horse where it belongs. I have also put this saddle on my horse who is skinner and more slender built and it still fit well. We actually weighed the saddle and it was about 45 pounds which is pretty light for how well built this saddle is. If your a roper you could rope with this saddle. It s extremely well built and amazing hand tooling. It would make a nice show saddle as well. Message me for more information or if looking to purchase.
