I am a 1 and 1 2 yo Labrador Pointer mix and I came from a shelter in North Carolina where my original owners dropped me off without a care in the world. They had me since I was a puppy. My original dad told them he would run with me every day a couple of miles but when he was gone at work my mom would keep me outside while she stayed inside. So I got pretty lonely and I would dig holes and she didn t like that. So I guess eventually Mom talked Dad into just taking me to the shelter and it broke my heart. The shelter staff became worried because I quivered constantly and I wouldn t eat. I was so scared with all the noise. They fell in love with me there and someone made me a nice bed and they let me sleep in their office so that I could get some rest. My foster mom took one look at me and saw how special I was and sent for me. Foster Mom tells me I m super special and very handsome. I am a VERY active boy who loves to run and I need a lot of exercise. I love to chase the ball in the yard and play with my foster fur brother and sister. I would do best in a home that will take me for walks or runs every day and play in the yard with me. Did I mention I love to play So playing and exercise are mandatory. I am completely potty-trained and I don t need to be in a crate during the day. I am now an inside dog. I don t chew on anything and I m very well behaved. Just let me know what you would like me to do and I will listen. I don t like loud noises though and I don t like it when people raise their voice so a nice calm home would be best. I m a really big boy at 77 lbs but I am very gentle and submissive. Not a mean bone in my body.
